HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY OCBC !!!
Our special "high entry" birthday event was a smashing success (2/19/15), thanks to the 22 players who participated, many of whom travelled long distances from the metropolitan areas of San Diego and Los Angeles. It was, by far, our club's biggest field!
Special thanks to Patrick G for providing the clocks, to Mario S for his assistance with draw sheets and other essential tasks, and for the restaurant staff at Embassy Suites Santa Ana for their top notch service.

F.A.Q.WHO are we?We are a diverse group of laid back Southern Californians, who range in skill level from Intermediate to World Class! Organizers & Co-Directors are Mario S. and Paul M.
WHAT do we do?We play backgammon tournaments! Typically double elimination tourneys or Swiss format tourney. Depending on interest, there will be a 4 or 8-person knockout for those who are no longer in the main event. There is never a shortage of backgammon action.
WHEN do we meet?Day: Every Thursday.
Time: 6:30pm . There are also friendly chouettes and warm-up games starting as early as 1pm. Please contact us to announce your early arrival. WHERE do we play?Venue: Embassy Suites Hotel, 1325 East Dyer Road, Santa Ana, CA 92705
Directions: Exit East Dyer Road from the 55 freeway (it's about halfway between the 5 and 405 freeways). Our playing area is just beyond the hotel lobby on the right, adjacent to the restaurant and bar. HOW do I join?Just show up! And please bring your backgammon set if you have one.
